Good Samples

Where do artists, notably The Prodigy, get good samples from? Do they get them from the record company seeing as they could now, being famous and knowing the right people. They're always very clean, very good sounding samples. They seemed pretty good though, even in the early days.

Evrywhere ! They probaly use whatever they can get . they just do what we guys are doing but with a bit more succes i guess

I started learning by rebuilding some prodigy tracks. The samples aren't as clean as you'd expect! In those early days those types of artists had to be really good at taking a dirty sample to make a groove then adding things to make the dirt not so noticeable.
