Fetty Wap Trap Luv Chorus sound

Hi fellow producers, I was listening to Fetty Wap's Trap Luv and during the chorus it has this heavy orchestral string like sound playing the main catchy melody. I was wondering what instrument or sound that was? I know it this has been used in other hip-hop/trap beats. I tried some orchestral string vst but it doesn't like it at all. The sound in the chorus sounded more synthesised and less acoustic. If someone know how to get this sound please let me know?

It's just a fairly normal orchestral sample (listen to some beethoven/mozart symphonies) with an 808 underneath doubling up the melody as well
It sounds synthetic because of the re-pitching
