Hello future producers,
I want to buy the equator d5's really badly. I know I need an interface to bride the gap between the d5's and my computer but I just want to make sure I'm doing this right before I blow $450.
Would it work if I bought
Amazon.com: Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2 In/2 Out USB Recording Audio Interface: Musical Instruments
and used two XLR to TRS cables to connect the two monitors to the interface
and then the interface connects to the computer. in result to that: computer plays music and other sounds through monitors then?
i'm very new to buying equipment like this, i produce a lot on fl studio, and all i've ever used for hardware is an electric keyboard that connects via usb and some $70 logitech computer speakers.
please help! thank you!
p.s. i also want to buy a record player that can play music out of these speakers as well at the same time.
