E-mu MP-7 help! Signal output problem

When I turn on my MP-7, it displays the normal 'loading' screen, then there's a loud pop and the only output is a loud humming that is not efected by the volume controls. I ran all of the diagnostics tests and everything checked out. The rest of the controls seem fine. I even opened it up and checked the connections of the cables from board to board.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Any insight?
