Deep 808 trap kicks?

The 808 Warfare Kontakt pack is pretty great. I really only use the "Clean" samples, but they're exactly what the doctor ordered for that really punchy/wide flavour.

I don't produce trap, so don't blame me on my opinion: isn't those deep kicks made out of a 808 kick layered with some sine waves beneath it?

i use vsts to make that type of kick a sin wave form with a bit of over drive
