There are folks that prefer Soulja Boy to Tupac. There are folks that prefer Trey Songz to Stevie Wonder. Get the point?

Prince > The Smiths, whichever way you look at it. Do you really think if The Smiths sign to Sony they will do Prince numbers over 2 decades? And then fill up 21 consecutive shows (20 000 people per show) in London, 3 decades after their first hit?
 
You know, I never once said The Smiths are BETTER than Prince. I don't know why you have to pit them against each other, completely different styles and artists, you just happen to dislike one of them.
