Anyone ever do metal in FL Studio?

I'm in the process of choosing a primary DAW and have fallen in love with FL but am turned off by the way it handles audio based music. It is superior imo for electronica/hip hop and other midi based music but for audio/band stuff, it approaches it the same way it would trance.

I'm just getting into electronic music and think FL would nurture that ambition but my style where I'm most at home is metal. Would it be a better idea to just stick with Mixcraft and cope with the lesser midi capabilities?

Try garageband or protools. Altho i saw every ghenre in FL.

reaper would be a better choice, its more suited towards audio recording and its midi side is getting pretty decent now. i mostly use it for electronic music but its main userbase from what ive seen are rock and metal bands.
