I´m looking for some advice. I´m about to buy a laptop. I´m going with an Asus K42 (i5-460M, 4gb, 500gb hdd), and am going to run Cubase 5 usually with 5 amplitube3 instances, 1 bass simulator, ezdrummer, maybe a couple of synths, 3 reverbs and some vst effects. Do you think it will handle it well? I´m a little worried about the turbo boost/ hyperthread issues some people have been reporting in.
