New song for my FP peeps

This is cool, reminds me of some.. I'm gonna say Paul Wall, maybe that's just because of your picture, or UGK?

Anyway, the beat is cool, nice drums, cool, simple melody.

The rapping is on point for sure! Good job! The only critique I would have is to be to maybe double up some of your vocals and pan them to thicken them up if you're mixing game isn't 100%. This has potential to be real dope though, good job!

There's good potential here but I think that the 808 is a little overpowering and almost sounds like it has some phasing issues with the kick? Make sure you tune your kick and 808s to match to avoid that kind of stuff right from the start. Or if its not that and you only used one 808 for the bass and the kick, it might be overrunning into itself, leaving the tail of it to still be playing when the next one hits and almost makes it sound wobbly or unstable. Vocals are clean though, great job eqing them and whatever you did to them, they would really stand out if you calmed that 808 down. Check me out if youd like, big sean type beat here.
 
This that real trap haha, reminds me of that era where Jeezy and T.I. and all them guys were poppin. Beat is dope af but sounds too distorted imo. Thats this whole song basically, very dope sound but could be mixed way better, I really fuck with your delivery and the hook is very catchy, left a like and a comment !
