You can't compare a MPC to a DAW...
They only thing the two have in common is you can make music on both. MPC is HARDWARE, FL is SOFTWARE.

The reason people talk **** about FL is because it is so easy to get a hold of. FL is the unfortunate program that has been illegally downloaded by the majority of it's users, who in turn think that they are suddenly "producers" and make ****ty beats using the included sounds.

I am a fruity loops hater and it has nothing to do with mpcs or what they can do. I just don't like Fruity Loops. I don't even use a mpc.

The MPC is better because when you get one all of your tracks are going to start sounding like some JUST BLAZE shyt....And plus you can load the beatmaker vst in the MPC...check it out!!!

2. Operate without a Mouse
3. Operate without a Monitor
4. Make music without you having to defend what you use every 5 minutes.
5. Make music that doesn't suck.

FL is actually one of the best selling programs after Pro Tools and Cubase.
I was shocked when I heard this but bottom line,it's both simple and powerful at the same time.
