Which Samplers are the best?

There is no doubt that everyone has their favorite sampler. I'm looking to get one myself and need some input to which will work for what I want to do.

My experience is mostly with Software (more studio end and less mixing/DJing). I create songs by sampling and looping beats and sampling myself playing bass, keyboards or any other instruments I have laying around.

What I want in a sampler is the ability to create these parts and then Mix them either to record on something else or play them live. I Pretty much want something that I can really warp the samples in real time.

So the question is...SP 808ex? RS7000? A4000? or something else all together?

Depeng on what your after! If you dont have that many outbord effects and stuff you sholud probably have a go at A5000..that sampler strength is its 6 efx blocks!!
AKAI and EMU sounds alot better, quality sort of speak, but hey! Who really hear the dirrence with alot of EFX and stuff layer ontop??
