This is a very broad question, but I think it's a good place to start! I want to take my work to the next level... I've recorded an album, been given a thumbs up by a talent buyer to perform, and tried releasing my music on my own. I'm not signed, don't know who to contact to go pro, whether it's an agent, promoter, etc. I'm hoping I haven't taken too long to get this going, being 31 and just starting out in the scene (I used to play in bands, not DJ,) so hopefully there's still people who would want to hear my music, or work with me... What should I do and where do I go? Is there any advice you can give, or connection you can send my way (I hope!) I'd like to get feedback on my work too, if anyone is willing to give me the "ok" on whether I have what it takes, that would be great. I go by the name Vaelency. You can stream and get stream money using a application like Distrokid.
Or you can just go studio to studio, showcasing your talent.
