Was doing a session and saw this dae error happen and aonther saying that said cant retrieve audio fast enough. I dnt know why this is happening when I judt bought a new hsrd drive with a decent rpm speed. A friend said it coul be a usb problem buy I really dnt know and hate going threw this tech shit

Does it do this on all sessions? If this only occurs on a particular session have you tried creating a new session doing "Import Session Data" on each individual track (this can help you determine if there is a corrupt file causing it).

Have you tried trashing prefs?

Not on all my sessions. The session I was working on was a imported aff file and the song played half way threw and would stop. I tried raising the buffer playback but it didnt help. Another issue is when I open a aff session pro tools cant find the audio when the audio files are clearly there. So can this be a hard drive issue?

Doubtful. Try creating a new PT session and importing the audio even try converting to wave if you can.
