if u run some Rnb tracks on a BPM calc, u'll know it..

I make a lot of R&B tracks and my tempo is usually between sort of 70 and 95. The median being more common.

This is just me though, experiment and do your own thing. I think this is pretty much standard though for R&B tracks.

130? Was it a dance song? or did you use a different time signature?

no it was a r&b song but the drums composition was different than usual, the snare was at the 3rd step.

1. Select the right tempo. The average BPM for R&B beats is 70 to 85.
2. Play a memorable melody or chord progression.
3. Add bass and drums.
4. Add additional sounds and melodies to make the song sound fuller.
