I have just signed a track to a UK based record label, however I just added about 7 un-signed tracks to my mp3 site, and I am looking for a review of my tracks. I also need a logo to go on my website and on my record sleeve. Any budding designers fancy a go.

thanks for your post angrybeats!
I move it to the "Unsigned Artists" forum so you'll have more chance to get feedback there

Take care, see you around

no problem man you're welcome.
As for the reviews, things are pretty crazy over here so they come slowly (two songs per week or so). Once things are back to normal, we'll review as many requests as possible

take care
see you around

Not if I get there first! :D
Could you pleace specify ONE track to be reviewed? How about "Gail"?

Gail

ok Gail is the name of my
mother in law

"Gail" by angrybeats
this is a basic nice track
to get your dance floor movin'
good sounds for use,however
we would like to see some more variety
in this song to keep it going, how about
more of a break down for some excitment
or new sounds in the mix;and,
where is the high end in your recording?
nice groove...keep it up

Thanks for the review. I have not added a breakdown as breakdowns are mainly used in commercial sounding tracks. Ever listened to sets by Steve Lawler, John Digweed you will be hard pushed to find a breakdown in a 2 hrs set. Some may call this type of music boring.

review

would you call this a "minimal" style?
i thought i heard attempted break w/
drums near latter 3rd of song
brake dwn as medium of transition is useful
even for underground sounds, though it may not
be your thing.
commercial boys got you signed? for real?
we could call you angry commercial beats..haha
keep it up
im checking out more of your stuff today

mrfunkyhouse: if you make the step to review somebody's song, don't be so mean.. Take the position of someone who is into this genre of music, and make the right comments in order to be constructive.

Read the reviews I usually post, I am always trying to help the person if there is a need to, and I also look at what is good in there etc.. I always had a positine response from the artist, and everybody moved on and evolved from the experience.

Good. yes I liked the review you did. Let me close this thread so people can add their 2 cents to your review if they want.

See you around ;)
