soundcard feeback

i just got a audiophile sound card..i dont have moniters yet but am using the outputs of the soundcard to the inputs of my pioneer 600 mixer..so i am using my computer asa third channel..
but i am getting nast feedback..does anyone knoe why..

Your mixer doesn't have anything going back into the computer, does it? If so, there you go. I did that once- not nice at all.

I run my sound card into a little berhinger mixer, but I don't use the channel inputs, I run it through the tape in. The sound doesn't get colored by any gain through the regular channels- that could be a problem too.

yeah i dont have anything going from my mixer to the card..just the outputs of card to mixer...but i also have a amp running from the mixer...
any like there..
