Hi everyone.
New member here, and I have a newbie question, which I cannot seem to find an answer for online.
I am new to music / sound creation, and want to start creating short sound samples which I can sell.
What hardware do I need to buy, in order to create my own sounds, which I can then load into GarageBand, and export as a sound sample to sell?
A lot of physical synthesisers (and also DAW apps) I have seen contain in-built sound samples and presets, which are no good for me, as they are obviously created by someone else, and therefore are copyrighted.
Am I correct in my understanding that I need to purchase a physical "Analogue" synthesiser, which doesn't include pre-recorded samples of any kind, but instead creates sounds by oscillation?
If this is correct, what else do I need in order to connect the physical synth to GarageBand?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
