Need some ideas of how to continue improving! Critique this song!

If you could leave me some ideas in how we can get better that would be awesome! Looking to hear your opinions.

I feel like the hi hats (high end) is a little bit harsh, sounds almost like static. The sample is dope, mad dope! The vocals need a little "shine" on them, they sound clean but I feel like their missing something. You might want to cut out a little bit of the synths and sample around the vocals range. That would be my guess, musically, rapping, is dope. My suggestions would be more in the mix! Goodstuff though listened to the song all the way through!

The mix is the hardest part for me - unfortunately I didn't create the beat but am I trying to figure out what I am missing in that mix out with the vocals.
