...IE not hardcore sounding sh!t.

I know nothing about dancehall. The only thing I have really heard is Sean Paul and I am not impressed with his stuff.

If I were to give you an idea on what I am looking for...

...in the hip hop world I would pick Tribe Called Quest, Blackalicious(sp) over Red Man, Method Man...etc.

I hope this helps in any way. I am looking for current or old school flavas. Just needs to be good.

EDIT: Vocals are a must...the ladies luv them vocals

Check out the Hemp rhythm on black pyramid.....all the real players with a nice mix of lovers cuts and consious tracks...this rhythm has something like 15 versions....

Look into all of Morgan Heritage's family and friends albums....can't go wrong....

Here are some songs that will make the girls .....

Beres Hammond - Temped To Touch
Top Cat - Over Your Body
Buju Banton feat. Nadine Sutherland - Wicked Dickie
Cutty Ranks ft Cocoa Tea - Waiting In Vain
