Any suggestions on what samples I should use/download or mixing techniques to achieve this?
It sounds like an 80s/Roland-type clap. Staccato sample, pitched up a bit, blended with piccolo snare maybe. Don’t use a long reverb tail or anything of the sort. EQ emphasis on high mids.??
