Ok. So What if i got a call from someone that has already recorded vocals to a song i sent them a couple months ago? Here's the deal. First the songs gonna be goin on a mixtape, then if the head of her label decides to choose the song, its goin on her album. She is also goin to be performing it on tour.

Anyways, I am new to the legal side of the music biz, so what are the necessary steps i need to take in order to not get screwed over.lol

Thanks fp

What Dwells said but with the quickness. Sounds like things might get messy soon.

Make sure it's an entertainment lawyer. there is a big difference!!!
Easiest way to find one is look at albums released from artist in your city/region. look for who represented the artist, then look them up in the phonebook. ask questions, do your homework.

you really needed to do this yesterday.

Yes, i know. But thanks for the advice my friend. I have an appt to go see an entertainment lawyer on mon, so hopefully its not too late to get the ball rollin.
