Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong category brand new here...

I have been working with FL Studio 9, and I have a US- 122L Audio Interface... (Taskam track pack le)

I understand the idea of not recording on the master and bla bla.... BUT... I am having a problem with my vocals only coming in the Right side of my phones... what can I do to remedy this problem? and will I need to rerecord the vocal track or is it something I can manually fix...

Also I am using 'Edison' for recording, and I am trying to mix the guitars and vocals via FX but I can't figure out how to do this once recorded.

Any help would be appreciated...

Becca.

Not overly familiar with edison but might be worth downloading something like audacity (its free) and doing a quick recording in there. If it still happens, its something to do with the setup on your soundcard or might be a faulty cable.
If the music does come out of both left and right, check the panning within FL/Edison and make sure its not turned to the right.

Sorry I couldnt provide more useful info.

start off by checking your cables then check your panning and also try recording in mono

I did figure it out... and I am just going to note what I did here in case anyone else has this issue.

this might be an issue that is solely a US-122L issue...

When you plug in your mic it goes in on the left... and when you plug in your guitar it goes in on the right so when you set your "in" in the mixer.... instead of choosing the logical option of "left and right" thinking that this will cause them to be mixed... choose "only left" for vocals, and choose "only right" for guitars and this will solve the problem with a perfectly balanced ending result...

thanks!
Becca
