Has J Dilla's death changed your outlook on living and eating habits?

I work out regularly, but my diet sucks. I also get into beats on wakeup sometimes and eat my first meal in the afternoon. I try to get some nutrition by taking vitamins, antioxidants, and drinking juices. V-8 just came out with that fusion drink which is a serving of fruits and veg. in each serving. Maybe that sounds corny, but if you ain't motivated to eat right, stuff like that makes it a little easier to get some nutrition.

i hear that all the time from family, and i know i should but i dont....you only live once, and ima eat what i want to eat, do what i want to do, im not afraid of death, i have pains in my chest already but thats not going to stop me, i may be hard headed but im not changing just who i am just to stay alive to make music

So eating junk food is really the most important thing to you?

Down the road you might find yourself having reasons to live and be healthy.

yeah eating junk food is my life....
its not important at all to me, it just tastes good, whats the problem?!?

every morning i have some coffee and 2 bananas. really helps my brain focus and make connections, prolly the potassium combined with caffeine. i make my best material in morning tho, if my body is tired i cant focus enough to be creative.

theres undeniably a mind body connection, so watch yourself..

the answer to your question is yes. Y'all know I've been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and I have lost a taste for all food around me. I can't sleep at night so I just make beats and only take cat-naps here and there. I don't take pain killers on an empty stomach though. But the side effects are all there. I have a feeling I might not see 40 so I'm doing everything I can to be a significant hitmaker in this world. I am mortal.

EDIT- I lost 25 pounds in three months. I've been steady in the last 5 months since. I had a long battle with bronchitis. It's why I had to stop teaching. This is why I'm going home. I will see if anything changes about my health. I've always eaten healthy since I'm in rural Thailand where there is only noodles and no Burger King.

i'm fighting a cold off because I went out to an event to network over the weekend. I do eat well and exercise (although I haven't been going to the gym like I'd like lately since the music is starting to take off). I think for me its lack of sleep more then anything. I have such an erratic sleep pattern it can't be healthy

but i'm one of those people who isn't gonna miss an opportunity just because of a minor sore throat.

Peace

Ok, well since you asked,
A lot of the ****ty food we eat contains cholestoral which clogs up your arteries and builds up over your life(especially in people who are overweight and don't exerciase enough). So then when you get older, (or net even necessarily so old), you get angina and heart attacks and have to have bypass surgery etc...

Heart disease is the number one killer in the country. Think about it. We all know someone who's died of a heart attack or had to have a bypass.

That's one of the problems.

^^^Just since you asked...
I have no desire to carry on further conversation about this. I have no personal stake in what you do. Just trying to provoke some positive thought.

I'll stop now :)

I'd also be blaming high-fructose corn syrup and preservatives.

And food loaded with fats and sugars.

But yeah, mainly high-fructose corn syrup. And not to mention it doesn't give you **** nutrition-wise, is a monopolized and subsidiezed industry, and can even raise your chance for heart disease due to how it breaks down in the liver.

And it's pretty much in everything.
