or we can chop anybodies beat...& flip it...

anyways...

the point of this thread is to post 1 measure loops...

loops for mixtapes, loops to tighten up yo freestylez, loops for remixes, etc.

Like i said...1 MEASURE ONLY...keep the file sizes down...we can all copy & paste...RIGHT???

the point is MIXTAPES & SAMPLES...

if you like the loop, you use it on a mixtape...remix, mash up, etc.

if you like the sounds...you chop & recycle...feed your weapon of choice more material...

on mixtapes do people usually say who the BeetMan is???

So if you posted a timbaland beat were suppose to sample it
what sense does that make ?? ... Or use it on our mixtapes ??
Umm were all producers here why would we do that instead of
producing a joint of our own. Why would we sample a fully produced
Lord Finesse beat that came out a few days ago ?

What are you, are you a rapper, just a hip hop fan perhaps ?

Lemme try to answer those questions in order...

1. why chop a produced track? = you chop a loop for SAMPLES...after you get those samples, you layer 'em & tweak 'em...i.e., PIMP THE SAMPLE...

2. yeah, if I post a TIM loop, & if you like some of the sounds in it, you can chop it up & use the choice sounds in your producer weapon of choice...loops are like refills...just add water (chop)

3. you can use the loop on mixtapes too...if the loop inspires you, then why not? ain't that what mixtapes are all about? using material that inspires you?

4. yeah, we can produce our own joints too...but like i said earlier, some of the sounds in the loops that we spread (potentially) can be used in our own tracks (sampling)...

5. why use new beats that just dropped? I just posted that one for an example...

what am I? over-all, I'm just an artist...i rock whatever i can get my hands on...mics, drums, keys, pads, etc.

I think I can speak for the majority here when I say were not gonna
sample a timbaland beat, swiss beat, etc producers full beat/loop thats
just straight lazy/biting ... Thats a general rule of thumb.
Majority here are not rappers so using a loop on a mixtape doesn't
make much sense here either ... If were working on a mixtape with
artists were gonna produce for them not jack a loop ... And then again
why a loop when you can just grab a full instrumental ?

Why dont you post something you've made im curious to hear since
you can rock anything ?

SAMPLING IS NOT BITING...sampling, to me at least, is taking a small FRACTION of a musical piece, & using that small piece in your own composition. U must have missed what I said above, about layering & tweaking your samples. you can name current producers, or past artists / producers...sampling is sampling, regardless of the time frame. it all just comes down to how you FLIP the sample.

hold up...first off...what is YOUR definition of a MIXTAPE?

also...a full instrumental might not always be available...depending on how dope the loop is, & depending on how dope you are / your artist is, then a one measure loop may be all you need to get your point across...

dude...i'm pretty sure most of us on this site can rock pretty much anything...at least the stuff i named above, right? mics, keys, pads, all that is sandbox toys to a solid BeetMan...

of a timbaland beat and sample it ... Thats some wack ish digg
your self and find a dope sample ... You dont pick out the current
hot song on the radio, download it, and rip 4 bars out of it sample
it and pass it off as your own loop.

Second I make mixtapes on the regular, my mixtapes have been
featured on mtv mixtape monday, had distribution with them, and
