Finding vocal talent

Looking to find vocal talent outside of our normal north eastern US area.

There used to be some good sites out there to connect with vocalists and musicians, but they seem to be either neglected or gone away totally. Wondering if anyone knows of any good ones these days. Looking for most genres, but just in general want to connect with vocalists and songwriters in general.

Find a vocal coach. Then ask them who their best available student is for what you are trying to do. Then search again. Find a few potentials and narrow it down to one or two depending on the number of types of productions you want to do (I'm assuming you'll want to focus on one)

Now not only do you have someone with vocal talent that was recommended and basically interviewed for you by the vocal coach, but your artist also has a vocal coach. lol. I mean come on, it doesn't get better.
