Thanks for sharing the track – a few thoughts: The music content is there, but this song really seems to be wanting some sort of groove consistent with Latin music. Depending on the daw you’re using, it might be possible to extract the groove from a track like that, rather than have it be so heavily quantized. Additional loops with Latin percussion could also be good (I.e. salsa, samba, etc). As a Latin track, finding ways of emphasizing a Clave rhythm can go along way to helping with that feel.
