Dancey choon

It's pleasant and the bass is punchy. I feel the words are a bit flat in delivery, and there is an odd crunchy noise - maybe a kind of delay on the drums? - that is weirdly distracting not too long after 30seconds and at 1:30 in, I'm not a professional but as a listener it is disconcerting. I felt the lead line could have been a bit thicker, maybe a few chords instead of a plucked single line?
