Good Plug INs

What style are you going for?

I use Sytrus in FL Studio as it is very versatile, although I would recommend a few tutorials on how to use it, unless you are good with sound design already. The presets are no way near all what you can do with this plugin. It has 6 oscillators all able to be cross modulated (subtractive and additive), with the oscillators having a harmonic adjuster, the plugin allso has three filters with series and parallel input with some really cool filter types. At the filter stage, there is envelope based distortion, after the wave generation and or filter output, it has effects built in for chorus, delay and reverb. Most parts of the plugin have envelopes that can be fine tuned with ASDR that is varying/oscilating for the duration.

Other plugins are good if you don't have the time to learn about making your own presets and just want to modify existing ones slightly, but they may have less control.

Hope this has helped!

Some good effects plugins to check out are:
Camel Crusher - great for distorting
dBlue Glitch - A melody chopping tool like gross beat but a lot more advanced
fabfilter saturn - another good distortion tool

Google is an amazing tool. Especially considering this site has been around for nearly 20 years. There is some real game here if you are willing to do the leg work.
