Sennheiser HD280 Pro Vs. Audio-Technica ATH-M50

Okay, So I'm Down To 2 Headphones in my price range
The Sennheiser HD280 Pro & The Audio-Technica ATH-M50
& I could use some helping choosing one, Im going to be using them for mixing vocals
I have no choice but to mix with headphones, sadly. I have to keep the noise at a minimum level

Any Help Would Be Great

MdL has good things to say about the ATH-M50's, and nearly everybody who uses them likes them. I have the Sennheisers and have no problems with them, but I haven't had much experience with different headphones.

i have the ath m50s.. they are great. never tried to senns.

Both are good but I think the AT's are a bit better for referencing/mixing, while the Senn's are a bit better for tracking.

I own the ATH-M50s, paid about $150 and they are simply amazing. I can hear everything, and the headphones give a very unbiased feedback of the sounds I am hearing. Very flat.
