Bigg rome this was a very thorough explanation of the essence of what one should envision when going into making a beat. In reality a Beat should look like that perfect painting on the wall. It should have a significance an identity and that starts with having a blueprint for success using the right tools. Furthermore, when you feel you have those tools like you said dont rush into making something great! Like Dj Drama said you can't rush greatness. Enjoy every step of your creative process and ask yourself along the way....could I make that better?
 
it's hard to really define what makes a beat "bangin" because everyone has a different listening experience. However I think the points you had can cover a beat that sounds "bangin"to everyone good job!!!
