I like this. That's a cool scale you use on the lead, gives it an eastern flavor.
My opinion is don't' try to be a drummer with a machine. Allow the machine to be the machine it is. Nothin wrong with that.
Check out Ghengis Tron, They're a hard core band. Singer does the vocals and the beats, there's a gutiar player and a keyboard player. Sick stuff. They make no attempt to hide that they use a machine and they sound better for it. Was in the top critics pics for 08.
My point is this, as a guitar player every peice of equipment these days seems to have a built in drummer. All of these try to "sound" like real drummers. They begin to sound cheasey because a live drummer adds mistakes and variations that a machine can't.
