What's the instrument used in "Funky Worm" by the Ohio Players and popularized by Dr. Dre in many songs including the Chronic intro on The Chronic? Any other info about this would be helpful, thanks.

i think u mean the synth sound. its a monophonic analog synth with pornamento. in funky worm, its also a saw wave.

in minimoog theres a synth called cp_worm lead and it sounds alot like the funky worm by the ohio players

search on youtube "funky worm self played" I tried to remake that synth the best I could using Minimoog's worm preset and just flipped it to a g-funk bouncy beat
