waveforms in bass-sound

Ahoj people

What is the best waveform/s to use in bass? sometimes it gets boring with only saw. What do you think?..

Try layering

It really depends on what you want it to sound like (i know that sounds obvious but;)

What i do is tend to create a bass sequence with a sine wave and then layer a saw, or pulse on top of that treated with HPF.

It gives the low subby sound of the sine but with a nice buzz also.

The combinations are unlimited.
