UK garage chords

hi guys,

I recently saw a post somewhere stating that deep house and UK garage (old and new school/future) uses jazz chords such as 7ths. I really like the sound of 7ths. Does anyone know what other chords that are usually used in deep house and garage? I am a bit at loss with piano theory and still a newbie to the piano.
And also, are there any jazz chords that i need to look up?

and this helps how? - spellings for individual chord types do not enlighten, particularly in interval set notation
but sequences or progressions of chords used either by name or function will answer the question asked - given my own limited knowledge of specific UK garage tracks, I asked the op to indicate some tracks that could be analysed by ear and trasncription to illuminate the chords in use and typical progressions - still waiting for a reply
