Stuck at tone and beats.

Hello everybody,
i am a newbie to music creation and have been trying creating some music on mix craft.
although i am now pretty good with the beats but i am suffering at the tunes and melody part. i often create a good beat and acceptable tune or melody but then i have no idea what to do next.
all my creations sounds pretty raw and I've been trying really hard to get over it.
I want to know that how to make a piece of music professionally sound good and what can i add to music besides melody and beats.
 
Melody, rhythm (aka beats), sound engineering and mastering are 4 different things... You can master some of them and have someone else do the rest of them. All of them requires tremendous reading, learning and practicing. I recommend you to start with melody and rhythm.
