Pyramids Synth Sound

Hey guys!

This is probably pretty basic, but I'm kinda new to sound design (;
I was wondering how I could recreate some of the sounds used in Frank Ocean's "Pyramids"

frank ocean [pyramids] on Vimeo

I'm talking about the sound used for the main melody at 1:27 and the sound backing up the guitar solo at 5:50.

Any tips / suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

that is a guitar with a volume swell pedal at 1:27

and

that is a treated reverse guitar sample at 5:50

Sorry, maybe I confused you a little with the time when the sound starts kicking in, I mean the synth melody starting at 1:15
The second sound around 5:50 I'm about is not the guitar but the buzzing chords in the background you hear the whole time
Do you know how to get those sounds too?

no: different start time different sound

1:13 is a super saw synth; fast attack, slow decay, high sustain and fast release for the vca (1-9-9-1 on a 11 point slider scale (0-10)) and a moderate filter, no resonance driven with similar adsr setting

1:27 is guitar with volume/swell pedal

the buzzing chords in the background at 5:50 is a treated reverse guitar sample

Can anyone tell me how to make that synth bass part that comes in at 1:29? I've been trying to make it for 4 hours and am frustrated. I'm using reason if that makes any difference.
