    The 4-5 note arp-ish(?) sound that comes when the chord changes (for example 0:12, 0:15, 0:18, 0:21, 0:47).
    I thought it was some sort of Rhodes-sound first, but that is not it.
    It sounds so punchy and crisp at the same time. What is this magic?

    Try starting with an electric piano type sound and editing the sustain/decay as in decay/sustain/release of ADSR controls, or an envelope on the last half, and envelope follower patch, or even a gate. There are a bunch of options to try or combine.
