How is this lead sound made

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could enlighten me how the spacey-trumpet-style lead-sounds of the following tracks are done?

comes in at 2:05 (this one has even an evolving pattern in the same style from the beginning of the track)

I heard this kind of sound in many tracks and I was wondering if it is linked to a specific type of instrument?

Don't mean to sound like a dick, but people would be more willing to help if you made enough post to be able to post an actual link... But anyway, it just sounds like an arpeggiated synth horn
