How to Get the CLR Sound?

Hey guys

dunno if anybody can help me with this, basically, im looking to try and emulate a sound/bass

its done by the likes of Monoloc, Tommy Four Seven and Chris Liebing on CLR.

its a really heavy low end gritty sound, was just wondering if anybody has ever been able to replicate this sort of sound, or has any tips to getting somewhere near it?

just looking at the waveform in the vid and a little listening tells me everything I need to know:

It is a super saw
It has been heavily overdriven with a hard limiter
It has had some shaped and coloured noise added to it.

The bass-line that repeats every 1 bar? My money's on a square wave patch put through an amp / saturator.
