Breaking Down an Arrangement

1:46 onto 2:50. i'm going to assume the piano/rhodes breakdown is the last few bars of the verse going into 8 bars of chorus. im curious about the rhodes+piano breakdown. is the rhodes just playing the chord progression and the piano just soloing a few octaves above? seems more intricate than what it is, but that's what it sounds like before the pad+lead+sawbass smushes everything together on the hook.

similar arrangement, but done more-so for the entire track. Piano again, sounds like it's in the two-and-three line octaves (C6/C7). sounds "thicker" than usual so it could be doubled, but im pretty sure it's just a melody and not triads. not sure what octave the rhodes is in, I'd guess C5 or C4 somewhere because it's playing chords in the "meat" area. in this one it sounds like the rhodes *may* have a little vibrato on it, and if it does it's subtle.

thoughts?
