Hi guys, it's been i while since I have been active on this forum but I'm glad to see that there is still som activity here.
I'm producing tech house,(toolroom, defected style) and I'm struggeling to get the drum groove right. I have tried to play with swing and delay, and chopping up loops, but often, I dont end up with a desired result. Which is that super groovy loop that can go on for 6 mintes.
I feel my loops are either too simple or too busy. And all the tutorials i have seen are just chopping up loops. But there are people who actually do make these loops from scratch. How do You do that?
Are there anyone that can tell some tips and tricks with these types of drum loops?
