Here's my project studio setup:
1)Mackie CFX 16 Board
2) An Avalon VT 737sp Vacuum Tube
3) a Digi 002R Music Production System (Pro Tools)
4)A Mac G5
5) OUTPUT: a pair of TR8-N monitors
5)a Shure KSM44 Condenser Mic
6)a Fantom X8 Keyboard
7 a MPC 2000
WHAT I NEED TO BE ABLE TO DO:
1) Have separate channel Inputs for my vocals, Fantom X, and MPC 2000. ( 3 channels) going into the MACKIE BOARD
2) Have my vocals go into the compressor
3) Run an output from the MAckie board into Pro Tools
4) Figure out the I/O Setup within Pro Tools with all this equipment to be able to multitrack at will.
HELP A NEWBIE OUT PLEASE!!!
I have to redo my entire small rig and I'm sweating bullets here...
I'm a 2nd year engineer who's yearning for "real world" experience.
