"electronic" music but it's deffinitely some type of hybrid of it as i've got a drummer that's "moving his kit in" the moment i've got the audio interface to record with....i wish there was a way to describe the style i do, but everyone that listens to tracks i've done just kind of scratches their head looking for a "subgenre" to apply....that makes me smile :)

Not yet ClubZero ! i need more time to make my own site ! right now, i'm just splitting my time between making web sites for other people (that's my job ! i do the background programming of websites -> asp & javascript & all that stuff) and making music.
if I just had 26h per day instead of 24, that would be great :)

super phat! glad there are others that use some of the same gear! (well the roland jp8000 and jp8080s are pretty standard) i've got a list of stuff that i need to get, but i just don't have the cash on hand to get it until my cc debit is paid off....the main items being a solid audio interface, some near-field reference monitors (been looking at behringer's and comparing), and a emu proteus 2500...then there's the whole issue of upgrading to a new computer, but well, i'm waiting on that until probably late fall...

:)

THM, how long did it take you to build such a setup ? i need moral man !!
3 weeks :p

No, seriously:

I started with my first synth at the age of 16 (in 1988) - that was the Roland D-20. A few years later I bought a Novation Bassstation, followed by a TB-303, and at that time I made my first record. Afterwards came my 2nd record, etc. Many years later I had the opportunity to have a superdeal: a (new !!) Behringer mixer (the Eurodesk 3282A) with 3 Behringer modules for only 1.100 EUR. !! The same year I bought my sampler, etc. Now I'm almost 30 (in September), and the past 3 years I've got my JP-8080, Supernova II and Juno-60.

Good luck !! :p

cool! i need at least one year to upgrade !! i am still waiting for my Virus C to come !! thats the most important thing to me now !! I think i will order it at Lesley's Store in Brussels! The french distributor really su%@ !!
i am also looking for a TB303 ! :)
