i'm lookin for a decent compressor that is not to expensive. any one have any ideas? $100-$200

for what? cause 2 types of compressors can be very different.

an FMR RNC is a good one, but not for drums, then i would search a secondhand DBX 160

get a software comp. get the waves renaissance bundle it's cheap and useful. it's far better than any hardware in the same price range.

trakmaster is good....

has a compresser/pre/limiter.. plus it has a channel for your instruments and voices.. im using it now. my friend uses it to and his quality is amazing.

sorry but i find it a piece of crap. Crappy preamp and crappy comp. An FMR outshine it easely on both levels

I got a Symetrix 301 mono compressor/lim for vox and Bass on ebay for $100 and it kicks ass for what i am trying to do.
