Don't buy any monitors from Roland
i'm very serious
best for quality and pricewies is Alesis M1 active
oh and don't get monitors from yamaha either
they are better than roland (muddy sound)
but their low frequency is too flat, the mid high frequency is too standout.
if you want a small monitor
Genelec 2029B is the only way to go
you will be amazed how a small speak can sound that fat and loud and clear without shaking

Well, 14 customers at SameDay Music gave them a 7.4 out of 10, for what that's worth.
They're certainly cheap -- but you can apparently get them new from Same Day for $10 more:
