If you have the money, CUBASE by far!

But I would research the 2 before. Depending on what your doing (or going to be doing with it) you may not need the power of Cubase.

It depends...I've used both and find that I like the workflow and set up of sonar. Your best bet is to get the demos and test drive em.

Really depends on what you are doing. I think the se version of cubase (only $99.99) is a great buy. I use it and I don't feel limited one bit. At first the work flow of cubase is'nt the smoothest, but once you get over the learning curve, it works great.
