Im 24, I got my first synth when I was 13. A Yamaha PSR-2. It sat in my parents garage from 15-22 when I dug it up. The first beats i made was with it. It sounds so bad it, it almost sound good, ya'kno

Haha, funny,...I made my first beat with a program you only can chop with, that came standart with windows 95,...Damn that was a long time ago....

Hey How do you network 2 pcs without having an outboard mixer???????? Im thinking of assembling another box.

Here's my setup....

Both computers need a NIC card....and they're both connected through a router.

I also have a Midisport 8x8 on my SONAR computer, but I'm running the ATMOSPHERE VST on the 1.3 GHZ computer....which has a Midisport 2x2 attached to it. I just connect one of the midiouts of the 2x2 into the 8x8x....and that sends MIDI info from ATMOSPHERE into SONAR.

I also have a aSoundblaster audigy on the 1.3 GHZ so I take the digital out of that card to feed it into my EZ BUS's digital input. This is how I can get audio from Atmosphere to record into Sonar.

You don't need a mixer at all, but I'm pretty sure that it would help out if you had a lott VST's on your second computer, and you wanted to record those tracks to your main computer simultaneously.
