    I use a pair of JBL 4328's and love them. Great low end clarity, accurate midrange fidelity, etc. The Adam A7's are a great choice in this price range as well...so are the Dynaudio BM6a's, though they're a bit over your price range. I think the Focal Solo's are in that range as well.

    Focal Solo 6 BEs are about $2000 in the US, but I'd say they well worth it. I have a pair and i love them. However with that said i'm sure KRK V8s or Dynaudios or JBLs or even Adams will do the trick.

    i got a pair of ADAM A7's plus the ADAM Sub 8 for 1222 €uros and the sound is amazing, worth every penny.
