    I was just wondering what a hiphop studio consists of? I'm having trouble selecting equipment or software to create music. I appreicate the help

    son u have a lab right iin front of u. listen up, all u need is a mixer which is like 99$ just like mines at guitarcenter mars has cheaper ones, a larde diaphragm mic and recording software son....... that all me and my niggaz got and **** and our **** sounds phat in the mastering house after its complete just holla i'll help u out 1....

    1) akai mpc2000xl ($800-2000 on ebay)
    2) good workstation( Korg triton, karma, trinity)
    3) good mulitrack program( Cubase, logic, pro tools)
    4) maybe a software synthesizer(Reason, reaktor.....)
    5) a good mic and or mixer. you can get a ok behringer mixer and a C1 mic that should aight.
    6) you need a good sound card, not no sound blaster

    whats you budget?

    Killah_Trakz, what are you using? i know you have a AT4033 after listening to some of your tracks. but what else. some of your vocals are distorted. not including the (unmastered tracks)
