OK.
I am moving into a house and want to (need to) soundproof the garage. the room has cement walls, wooden roof, wooden door to outside, wooden garage door which leaves about a one inch gap between itself and the wall when closed, and one single paned window. It is a standard 2 car garage, i think about 8m x 5m.
Obviously, the garage door is the worst part, followed by the window and the roof. I'm hoping I can do something about it though with some combination of sheetrock (Crystal Method's idea), some thick hair underfelt, some acoustic tiles, and some regular insulation/eggcrates. Suggestions or experiences?
Thanks!!
